These are created from original photos (from old digitally converted film in these examples) using my Adobe Photoshop software. However, many years ago I did in fact paint canvases (several very large ones) of most of the of the images here. What I love about this software is, that when I print the images up on very high quality rag papers they have the same feel as the original gouache studies I used to paint prior to making the larger oil paintings. It’s cheating in a way, but fairly skillful – at least I like to think…
